Privacy Policy
Effective 1 October 2026 · Version 1.1
This policy describes what our software actually does, not what a template says. The most important thing in it: if you are a creator signed with Aerolite, we record your public TikTok LIVE broadcasts — video, and the gifts, comments and viewer numbers that happen during them. Section 3 explains exactly what that means.

1. Who we are
Aerolite Creator Network ("Aerolite", "we") is a talent network for TikTok LIVE creators.
We provide signed creators with brand identity work, merchandise produced in-house,
coaching, and an analytics tool called Atlas. This policy covers the Aerolite website at
aerolitenetwork.com and the Atlas dashboard behind it.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by TikTok or ByteDance.
2. Information you give us
When a founder creates your account and you sign in, we hold:
- Your name and email address, and a password stored only as a secure hash — we never see or store your actual password.
- Your TikTok handle and any other social handles you give us.
- The date you joined and your role (creator or founder).
- Your display preferences, such as light or dark mode.
- Anything you type into the tool yourself — clip names, notes, task text.
Accounts are created by invitation. There is no public sign-up, so we never receive details from someone we have not already spoken to.
Notes our team writes about you
Founders can write internal notes about a creator — coaching observations, things discussed on a call. These are staff notes about our working relationship with you. They are not shown in your own view of the dashboard. You can ask to see them at any time under section 10, and we will provide them.
3. Stream recording — the big one
For creators who have accepted our terms and have recording enabled, our system watches for you going live on TikTok and automatically captures the broadcast. You do not have to start it, and there is no per-stream prompt.
For each recorded stream we store:
- A video recording of the broadcast as it was shown publicly on TikTok.
- Gift and diamond events — which gift, its value, and the username of the sender.
- Chat messages posted in the room, with the sender's username.
- Likes, shares, follows and joins, with usernames where TikTok provides them.
- Viewer counts, sampled continuously through the stream.
- Figures computed from the above: totals, peaks, per-minute trends, and automatically detected "moments" such as gift spikes.
We capture only what TikTok already broadcasts publicly to anyone watching the room. We do not capture private messages, your screen outside the broadcast, your camera when you are not live, or anything from the TikTok app itself.
How consent works
Recording is switched on per creator, and only after that creator has accepted our Terms of Service, which state this plainly. The acceptance is timestamped on your record. You can have recording switched off for your account at any time by telling any founder — see section 10.
What we do with the recordings
They exist so you can look back at your own streams, find the moments worth keeping, and cut clips from them. Founders can also view them to give you coaching that refers to specific moments rather than vague impressions. We do not publish your recordings, sell them, licence them, or post to your accounts on your behalf.
4. Information from TikTok
If and when you connect your TikTok account to Atlas using TikTok's official "Continue with TikTok" sign-in, we receive exactly what you approve on TikTok's own consent screen. We request these permissions, and nothing else:
- Basic profile (
user.info.basic) — your avatar and display name, so Atlas can show which account is connected. - Profile details (
user.info.profile) — your username and profile link, so we can confirm the account is really yours. - Account statistics (
user.info.stats) — your public follower, likes and video counts, so your own numbers appear in your dashboard. - Public video list (
video.list) — the list of your public videos, so Atlas can show performance next to your streams.
We use these only to identify your account and show your own numbers back to you. We do not post on your behalf, we cannot see private messages, and we do not request permission to do either. The sign-in tokens TikTok issues are stored server-side, are never shown in the app, and are deleted when the link is removed.
You can disconnect the link at any time — from your TikTok app under Settings → Security → Apps and websites, or by asking us at [email protected]. Disconnecting stops any further data coming to us, and on request we delete the data already received from TikTok along with it.
Separately, some figures shown in Atlas come from TikTok's own creator Backstage reports, which a founder exports and uploads. Those describe the network's creators and come from TikTok's tooling, not from scraping.
5. If you are a viewer, not a creator
If you watched, commented in, or sent a gift during a stream we recorded, then your public TikTok username and what you publicly did in that room — your message, your gift, your follow — is in that recording and in our event log for it.
That information was public in the live room at the time. We keep it because it is inseparable from the stream itself: a recording with the chat cut out is not a record of what happened. We do not build profiles of viewers across creators, we do not use viewer information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
If you would rather not appear, write to us at the address in section 14 with the creator, the approximate date, and the username, and we will remove your messages and gift entries from our stored records.
6. If we have approached you about joining
We keep a recruiting list. If a founder has identified you as someone we might want to work with, we may hold your public handle, your public follower count, where we found you, and notes from any conversation — before you have signed anything or given us anything.
This is business contact information about a public creator profile. If you would like to be removed from that list, ask us and we will delete the entry.
7. Why we hold any of it
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Account details | To let you sign in and to show you your own things rather than someone else's. |
| Stream recordings and events | To give you playback, clipping, and analytics about your own streams, and to let us coach you on specifics. |
| TikTok profile and stats | To confirm the account is really yours and to show your numbers in one place. |
| Brand assets | To produce and deliver your brand kit and merchandise. |
| Internal notes and recruiting list | To run the agency side of the relationship. |
We do not use any of it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models for anyone else.
8. How long we keep it
| Item | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Source stream recordings (the full video) | About 10 days, then deleted automatically. |
| Clips you saved from a stream | Kept indefinitely — a clip you saved should still be there months later. You can delete any of your clips yourself. |
| Stream statistics and event logs | Kept while you are with the network, so your history and trends survive the video ageing out. |
| Account details | While your account is open. |
| Internal notes and recruiting entries | Until they stop being relevant, or until you ask us to remove them. |
If you leave the network, tell us what you want done with your recordings, clips and statistics and we will do it. If you tell us nothing, we delete your recordings and close your account within 90 days.
9. Who else sees it
We do not sell your information to anyone, ever. It is seen by:
- Aerolite's founders, who run the network and need it to do so.
- You — your own recordings, clips, numbers and delivered brand assets.
- Nobody else by default. Other creators in the network cannot see your streams, your numbers, or your notes.
We would disclose information if the law required it, and we would tell you unless legally prevented from doing so.
Services we rely on
Our site is delivered through Cloudflare, which sees network traffic in the ordinary course of routing it. Everything else — the database, your recordings, your clips — runs on hardware we own and operate ourselves rather than a third-party cloud. Nothing is passed to an advertising network or a data broker.
10. Your choices and how to use them
Whoever you are, you can ask us to:
- Show you everything we hold about you, including internal notes.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your recordings, your clips, your account, or a specific chat message or gift entry.
- Stop recording your streams, from that moment on.
- Export your recordings, clips and statistics so you can take them with you.
Ask any founder directly, or write to the address below. We aim to answer within 30 days. We will not charge you, and we will not make you explain why.
Depending on where you live you may have additional statutory rights, for example under the GDPR or the CCPA. We extend the choices above to everyone regardless of location, so you do not need to establish which law applies to make a request.
11. Where it lives and how it is protected
Your data is held on servers we own and operate in the United States. Recordings never leave that hardware. Access to the dashboard requires a password, and what each account can read is enforced by the database itself rather than only by the interface — a creator account cannot retrieve another creator's streams, notes or brand files even by requesting them directly. Video and audio are served only through short-lived signed links tied to the account that requested them.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affected your information, we would tell you promptly and plainly, and say what we knew and did not yet know.
12. Age
Aerolite is for adults. Our services are not directed at children, we do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 18, and if we learn that we hold information about a child we will delete it.
13. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and, for any change that materially affects what we collect or how we use it, tell signed creators directly rather than relying on you to re-read the page.
14. Contact
Questions, requests, or a removal request under section 5 or 10: [email protected].
You can also raise anything in this policy directly with any Aerolite founder.
